£17,500 - £20,000

Our prestigious building services client is now looking to appoint an efficient Payroll and HR Administrator
The successful candidate will be experienced in both weekly and monthly payroll and will have experience of using Sage

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Processing all time sheets and expenses
  • Payroll calculations – overtime, pay amendments, deductions 
  • Producing,
    processing and submitting all files for HMRC and the accountant (Real
    Time Information, Employer Payment Summary, Full Payment Submissions)
  • Handling Auto-Enrolment and processing pension payments
  • Maintaining payroll records – salary details, wage rates, expenses and benefits 
  • Maintaining and updating sickness and absence information with high levels of accuracy 
  • Collating and processing expenses/mileage for engineers 
  • Ensuring all work is submitted and processed in line with required deadlines 
  • Producing, maintaining and updating reports, spreadsheets, memos and records 
  • Creating, inputting/updating information onto several databases

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous payroll and HR background
  • Experience of using Sage 
  • Be confident in processing both weekly and monthly payroll 
  • Exposure to Auto-Enrolment and pensions 
  • HMRC submissions 
  • Excellent administration and coordination skills 
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise my workload with minimal or no supervision
  • Excellent communication skills – across all levels – ability to build relationships 
  • Competent IT skills – MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, IRIS and bespoke databases 
  • Committed and reliable worker 
  • Have excellent communication skills
