Our reputable manufacturing client is now looking to appoint a HSE Advisor reporting directly to the HSE Manager.

This
is a great opportunity for someone wishing to continue their HSE
Studies to Diploma level and a full training programme will be put in
place for the successful candidate.

Daily Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be required to provide a professional HSE
    service across both the manufacturing and office environments
  • First point of contact for industry based HSE Advice
  • Undertake ad hoc factory inspections
  • Chair record and produce minutes for the monthly factory/office HSE Committee
  • Plan and organise H&S Inductions for all new starters to site
  • Investigation of HSE related accident/incidents and dangerous occurrences with reports to the HSE Manager
  • Assist in the maintenance and auditing of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, OHSAS18001:2007 certified integrated management systems
  • Provide cover and assist when required with duties relating to any field based activities
  • Assist the HSE Manager with administration, communications and other duties where required
  • Collation and recording of data as required by the HSE Manager
  • Plan and organise HSE Training

Essential Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
  • Knowledge of HSE matters and legislation
  • Auditing to any or all standards of ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally in a hands
  • on role at all levels within the business including Senior Management
  • Ability to champion and maintain HSE and company standards
  • Good organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise work load
  • Ability to work under own initiative and be a team player 
  • Able to operate under pressure
  • Ability to be flexible at all times
  • Good IT skills, word, excel, power point etc
  • Able to demonstrate the above skills
