Our prestigious engineering client is now looking to appoint
an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual into their Key Accounts
Sales Team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a fast paced team in managing several key accounts for the business.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Manage several key accounts and be the face of the company to your customer portfolio 
  • Increase profitability and turnover of customer portfolio
  • Work to achieve set KPI’s
  • Follow up on sales enquiries from allocated customer portfolio and prepare sales quotes/proposals
  • Liaise with external sales & technical team to arrange customer visits
  • Cross-sell additional products within your customer portfolio
  • Ensure on time delivery targets are met for your customers
  • Manage all customer queries/complaints from your customer portfolio
  • Update the CRM system and input relevant information
  • Identify and act upon sales trends within accounts
  • Continuously review customer needs to add value and enhance customer experience
  • Build rapport with clients efficiently and professionally to obtain relevant market information
  • Champion the customer at all levels and represent them effectively internally
  • Demonstrate a full customer understanding and be able to present to relevant info Management 
  • Give sales presentations / monthly reports to Sales Office Manager and Sales Director
  • Provide customers with excellent service and support
  • Be aware of all competitor activities within your accounts and prevent attrition

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven key account sales background
  • Commercially aware with a tenacious, winning mentality
  • Outgoing personality and good at building relationships
  • Excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening)
  • Effective time management/organisational skills
  • Strong work ethic, commercial judgment and reliability
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft office packages
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted and effective client relationships
  • Flexibility for travel to visit all clients
